Paul Brown

Paul Brown is widely recognized as the dean of the Anderson Press Corp, combining reporting skills developed through decades in the news business with a commitment to the community he calls home. He has been covering news in Anderson County and surrounding areas since 1971. As a freelance photojournalist, he currently supplies news coverage for WYFF News 4, The Greenville News, the Williamston Journal and the Belton News-Chronicle, where his SC Press Association award-winning photos have appeared.

Brown’s radio news career in the Upstate began in the early 70’s with WESC in Greenville, making him the voice of Anderson County radio news for close to 40 years. He is now heard exclusively on WRIX-FM and on the Internet at talk103.com.

Brown lives in the Piercetown Community of Anderson County.
